What I Wore: A Summer Solstice Affair

This past Saturday marked my third celebration of the summer solstice at The Cleveland Museum of Art with JPC. As always, it was a fantastic party with several thousand of my closest friends.

Since the party is always on a hot night and both inside and outside the museum I’m always reaching for comfort and style. Here I decided to do a high-low pairing with a simple t-shirt from Pickwick & Weller (in the Hanna cut), a sequin tribal skirt from Yumi Kim and nude wedges from Forever 21 ($30, score!)

Each year I’ve attended, my darling friend throws a fabulous rooftop pre-party. We enjoyed drinks and Mediterranean apps on the deck while watching the sunset.

The only shot of JPC and I from the entire evening was captured thanks to CleShopaholic! JPC is wearing a Lorenzo Uomo dress shirt and Roberto Cavalli slacks.

Every year this party is a blast and truly kicks off the summer season. The mix of art, fashion, drinking and dancing is perfection. This year’s headliner was DJ Afrika Bambaataa and I am still sore from dancing the night away!

Disclosure:: Pickwick & Weller gifted me with my t-shirt for this style post. They are a fabulous US based company with all production in LA. Ashton Kutcher is a co-founder and is very involved with the design process. The tees are soft and fit perfectly, I really recommend checking them out.  All opinions are my own.
