New York. Visiting more often for this quick 50 minute flight was one of my new year’s resolutions from last year, yet so far I’ve only made two visits in 2014. If all things go right, I’ll be able to swing through one last time before the new year.
This past visit I ventured on my own – it was all about shopping, art and Soul Cycle… isn’t that what every trip to NYC should look like?
A huge motivator for my trip was the Koons exhibit at The Whitney. I knew I wanted to spend a day wasting away in his porny little wonderland. It did not disappoint.
Any time a museum feels like a pop-culture theme park is all good with me.
I finally ventured over to Catbird in Williamsburg to purchase my first piece from the blogger-obsessed jeweler. The signature kitty cat ears ring was an easy choice. The teeny-tiny shop is full of goodies (and shoppers) so if you go – get in early and snag something delightful!
That little cigarette? It’s a pencil. That’s for the campy fab treats, Catbird.
NYC wouldn’t be NYC without some Soul Cycle time or a trip to Barney’s – don’t worry I did both. I got in a Sunday sweat sesh at the Upper Westside location and took a stroll through Central Park on my way there. It was heavenly.
Back to Barney’s — These rose gold Blazer Nikes are still in heavy rotation. GOLD IS A NEUTRAL and I’m making every moment in these comfy kicks count.
